We are a refractory material manufacturer, with four major factories: heavy brick factory, light brick factory, monolithic refractory factory and fused-cast brick factory.
We promise to provide you with high-quality refractory materials.
Product description of lightweight silicon insulation brick
The critical particle size of lightweight silicon brick is usually no more than 1mm, and the particle size less than 0.5mm is not less than 90%. It is prepared by adding inflammable substance to the ingredients or forming porous structure by gas generation method and then sintering. It can also be made into non-burning products. Mainly used to require heat insulation or reduce weight without direct contact with the molten material, not erosive gas action, do not suffer from temperature changes in the various parts of the kiln. Use at high temperature, can not contact with alkaline refractory materials. According to the different material, its maximum use temperature in 1200 ~ 1550℃.
Features of lightweight silicon insulation brick
Many pores
Good compressive strength
Good slag resistance
Good corrosion resistance
Details of lightweight silicon insulation brick
Light silicon brick has excellent fire resistance, the softening temperature under load is close to that of compact silicon brick up to 1620℃, there is little residual expansion, and its thermal stability is better than that of compact silicon brick. Therefore, light silicon brick can be used for a long time without contact with slag at high temperature (1500-1550℃), suitable for large blast furnace supporting hot blast furnace lining, glass furnace gas insulation layer, etc.
